הנחיות להכנת מאמרים

המאמרים הנשלחים לפרסום בכתב העת עיונים בשפה וחברה חייבים להיות בלעדיים, כלומר מאמרים שלא פורסמו במקום אחר או שלא נשלחו במקביל לבמה אחרת. מאמר בעברית יכלול עד 6,000 מילים, ומאמר באנגלית יכלול עד 8,000 מילים, כולל הערות, ביבליוגרפיה ונספחים.

בעמוד הראשון תופיע כותרת המאמר, אך לא שם המחבר(ים). באותו עמוד יובאו תקציר עברי ותקציר אנגלי באורך שלא יעלה על 150 מילים כל אחד וכן עד שש מילות מפתח. בדף נפרד יופיעו כותרת המאמר בעברית ובאנגלית, השם או השמות של המחבר(ים) והשיוך האקדמי שלו/שלהם, כולל שם החוג או המחלקה. יש לצרף פרטים מקצועיים של המחבר(ים) באורך שלא יעלה על 50 מילים. כמו כן יש לציין כתובת להתכתבות, מספר טלפון, מספר פקס ודוא"ל.

מאמרי ביקורת ספרים יכללו עד 3,000 מילים בעברית או עד 4,000 מילים באנגלית. בראש המאמר יובאו שם המחבר(ים), שם הספר, העיר, ההוצאה, שנת ההוצאה, מספרי העמודים וכן מספר ה-ISBN. בסוף המאמר יובאו שם הספר ושם המחבר(ים) באנגלית וכן פרטים מקצועיים ואישיים על כותב(ת) הביקורת, כפי שמצוין בפסקה לעיל.

כל המאמרים יישלחו בדואר אלקטרוני בלבד לכתובת המערכת: safa.hevra @ gmail.com. ספרים לסקירה יש לשלוח לד"ר דבורה קלקין-פישמן, הפקולטה לחינוך, אוניברסיטת חיפה, חיפה 31905.

הגופנים לכתיבת המאמר בעברית יהיו David ובאנגלית Times New Roman בגודל 12. יש להפחית נקודה אחת בכתיבה בלועזית בתוך הטקסט העברי. יישור דו-צדדי נדרש לאורך כל המאמר. הרווח בין השורות יהיה של שורה וחצי, ועדיף 18 נקודות במדויק. לצורך הדגשה יש להשתמש באות מודגשת (bold) ולהימנע משימוש באות נטויה (italics) או בקו תחתי. גם מילים זרות יודגשו באות נטויה ולאחר מכן יובא תרגומן לעברית בסוגריים ובמרכאות רגילות (לא כפולות). לציטוט ישמשו מרכאות כפולות, ולציטוט פנימי מרכאה אחת. יש לצמצם למינימום את מספר ההערות ולהביאן ברצף לפני הביבליוגרפיה. טבלאות ותרשימים ימוספרו ויובאו בגוף הטקסט.

הביבליוגרפיה תיכתב בסדר אלפביתי, קודם בעברית ולאחר מכן באנגלית. בגוף המאמר יובאו בסוגריים שם משפחה, שנת הפרסום ומספרי עמודים. אין להשתמש בהערות שוליים לצורך אזכור מראי מקומות. ברשימה הביבליוגרפית יופיעו כל האזכורים שבגוף הטקסט, ורק אלו. להלן דוגמות לשיטת הרישום הביבליוגרפי (ר' גם הנחיות לכתיבה באנגלית).

(א) מאמר בכתב-עת:
עוזיאל-קרל, ס' (תשס"ה). מודל התפתחותי לרכישת מבנה הארגומנטים של הפועל. בלשנות עברית 56 , עמ' 104-87.

(ב) ספר:
רוזנבלום, ע' וצ' טריגר (2007). ללא מילים: התרבות הישראלית בראי השפה. אור יהודה: דביר.

(ג) מאמר או פרק בספר:
סלע, פ' (2001). לשונם של עולים בראי ספרות הילדים בעברית. בתוך: א' (רודריג) שורצולד ור' ניר (עורכים). ספר בן-ציון פישלר: מחקרים בלשון העברית ובהוראתה. אבן-יהודה: רכס, עמ' 119-107.

(ד) עבודת גמר:

Guidelines for Contributors

Articles submitted to Israel Studies in Language and Society must not previously have been published and are not currently being considered for publication elsewhere. Hebrew articles should be no longer than 6,000 words, and English articles no longer than 8,000 words, including notes, references and appendices.

The title of the article should appear on the first page, but not the author(s) name. The same page should contain abstracts in English and Hebrew (up to 150 words each), and six keywords. An additional page should provide the article's title in English and Hebrew and author(s) name(s) and academic affiliation, including the department, the mailing address, telephone number, fax number and email address. It should also include a 50-word academic biography of the author(s).

Book reviews should be no longer than 3,000 words in Hebrew and 4,000 words in English. The heading of the review should show the author(s') name(s), book's name, place of publication, name of publisher, year of publication, number of pages, and ISBN number. The English title and name of the author(s) should be placed at the end of the article, as well as professional biography of the reviewer, as stated in the above paragraph.

All articles should be submitted only by electronic mail to the editorial address: safa.hevra @ gmail.com. Books for review should be sent to Dr. Devorah Kalekin-Fishman, Faculty of Education, University of Haifa, Haifa 31905.

The font to be used in Hebrew is David and in English Times New Roman 12 points font. Use full justification throughout the text. The space between lines should be 1,5 and preferably 18 points exactly. Please use italics for emphasized words, and avoid the use of boldface or underlining. Foreign words should also be italicized and followed by translation in brackets and single quotation marks. Use double quotation marks for regular quotations, and single marks for inside quotation. Notes should be kept to a minimum and placed before the references. They should be written in 10 points font, single space and full justification. Tables and figures have to be numbered and embedded within the text.

References should be listed alphabetically at the end of the paper and referred in the text in parentheses by surname, publication year and page numbers. Please do not use footnotes for bibliographical references. The list of references must include all works cited in the text, and only those. The style and punctuation of references are illustrated in the following examples:
